thank you
today is teachers' day celebration! had a great day and i enjoyed all the performances and videos put up for us! can sense the effort put in by all the students...
firstly, i must thank my beloved 3R! it was a wonderful surprise for me and mr chandran! i love the spaghetti and donuts... and the board that you have done up for me.. it's priceless... though i have been with u all for a few mths only... but i'm glad u all have accepted me and i really love you all.. thank you gers for the cup, care bear, chocolates, cards and flowers and the little snacks tt u all have given me.. no matter is by the chi, indian or malay gers.. i really appreciated the effort! now my mummy care bear has a baby care bear le! (haha tt's out of the pt) i have spent more times with the chi gers as i see them more for lesson.. you all have touched my heart.. but i felt a little bad towards the other gers.. becos i see less of u.. i really hope in the times to come i can interact with u all more.. i really hope if u all have any problems feel free to come to me.. i will always be there to listen.. hope i can still take this class next yr.. really... 3R u all rocks!
next, thanks to my current sec2 and sec3 express gers.. the little presents and chocolates and biscuits tt u all have personally made for me.. really love them.. i have started trying out everyone of them.. hahaa and it's nice! becos i can feel the love inside..
last but not least, 2 grps of ppl tt i MUST mention.. the sec 5 gers! u all r such a dear! i never really taught u all but u all r always someone tt i can count on and u all never let me worry... the flowers and wishes and the photos u all gave me is real nice! i will display on my table! jia you for ur olevels! graduation must remember to take photos with me!
and my previous sec2 hcl gers.. i'm so touched tt u all still remember me and did cards for me... u all r always so sweet... thanks for the nomination on the newspaper too!
one surprise a 3mm ger actually gave me a present.. i never teach them at all and i only went into their class to invigilate once.. thanks for tt too.. and thank u everyone for ur wishes.. it's more than enough!

think about it...
this incident happened today that i feel i should mention.. when you all get back your grades.. and it is not what you hoped or wanted it to be.. or it may not be too good.. then firstly go reflect where u have done wrong... and not just throw your temper.. this time u may not do well but it doesn't mean u will not do well forever... find out what is the problem or ask the teachers... don't blame other people first.. don't blame your teachers, your parents, the school, your maid or anyone or anything... reflect on yourselves first... don't just vent your anger on the teacher... i had wanted to scold but i stop myself because i know it is because of the marks and i empathise so i decided not to scold..
but pls show me respect.. i can be nice.. i can be your friend.. but don't step over the line.. because how nice i'm to you all depends on your attitude towards me and the subjects...
i hope this will make you all think..

成绩出炉了！
今天成绩出了。。。
那些认为已经考到自己最好的成绩的同学，恭喜你们！
那些觉得自己考不好的同学，不用太失望。。。因为，你们还有多一次机会！伤心，难过是很自然的，因为你们对自己，对这个科目有一定的期望与期待。
老师很了解。。。看到你们难过，老师心里也不好受。。。因为， 老师知道无论多少的安慰对你们或者以出炉的成绩并不会有什么改变。。。
但老师只想更你们说，无论做什么事，尽了全力，不要让自己有遗憾那就足够了！之前的考试和成绩已经过一个段落，接下来，就要好好把握第二次的机会！考试其实除了靠实力，有时也要靠一点运气。。。我相信你们一定能做到的！最重要的是，老师看到你们为华文所下的苦工和诚意，我相信“皇天不负苦心人”。。。把之前的小小挫折给忘掉，想想是哪一方面出了错，然后继续努力！
我们每一位老师都会一直在你们的身边，为你们加油，打气！

最近，老师搭德士时，遇到一位非常无理及鲁莽的德士司机。
你们对新加坡的服务水平有什么看法？是顾客的问题，还是服务员的问题？
我们在餐馆吃饭时，都必须交服务费。你们认为真的有必要吗？我们身为顾客有因为服了服务费而得到更好的服务吗？还是，应该把服务费取消，改为给小费呢？
大家不妨去想一想！对你们口试或写报章报道时，会很有帮助！

今天发现很多人都很累，而且今天上课的气氛很冷。。。
老师知道你们有很多功课，或者其他事情要做，
可是老师也一样啊。。。
你们是否有发现，老师每次去班上的时候，都是开开心心的？
因为老师也做过学生，老师知道上课的气氛很重要。
老师不能一个人自high，因为如果你们对老师的课的反应是冷淡的话，
我们的课就会变得拖拖拉拉，提不起劲！:)
（也许有些活动你们认为很闷，或是很难。可是要记住，语文这个东西，不是一加一等于二，那么简单！每个活动，每个作业都是有意义的，对你们的考试或是未来的生活都有帮助。。）
希望你们在周末记得多休息！

Dear 3R!
Thankful for the chance to be your co-form teacher :) I'm very happy to know all of you. I'm still very new to your class and i'm grateful that you all are receptive and have been very friendly to me... You all may not be the most academic inclined student but i'm sure everyone of you has your own plus point and I can see that(life is not all about studies)...
but like what i always say to my other gers.. ATTITUDE is what i look for..
I'm sure we will have a great time together for the rest of your sem!
I will always be there for any one of you if u need help in ur studies (especially chi, cos i'm not very good in other sub too! hee) or any personal stuff that you may like to share with me.. as long as you are willing to say.. i will be more than happy to lend a listening ear! work hard and play hard gers!

no time?
Often we hear students complaining about having not enough time to prepare for their examinations. Why is that so? Let's examine the underlying factors.
Assuming that it's not a leap year and that students make full use of their time even during term breaks, we have 365 available and potentially mugging days with in a year, which includes 2 full-time school terms (8months) plus term breaks (4 months).
1. Sundays - 52 Sundays in one year, you know Sundays are for resting.Days left: 313.
2. "Summer" break - The total hours of extremely scorching afternoons during the heatwave season amounts to around 50 unbearable days a year when it is too warm to study effectively. So why not take a good afternoon nap and study later at night?Days left: 263.
3. 8 hours daily sleep - Needless to say anything further. 130 days GONE every year.Days left: 141.
4. 1 hour daily for playing - (All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy) means 15 days a year.Days left: 126.
5. 2 hours daily for food & other delicacies or tidbits (You must chew properly & swallow your food to prevent indigestion) - means 30 days.Days left: 96.
6. 1 hour daily for talking and gossiping (Humans need to socialise yah..) - means 15 days.Days left: 81.
7. Exam days - takes up around 35 days a year (2 school terms).Days left: 46.
8. Family outings, festivities, birthday parties, dates etc.. holiday trips - 40 days.Days left: 6.
9. Sick or emotional days (when either the body or the mind isn't willing..) - at least 3 days.Days left 3.
10. Movies and other must-go functions (e.g. Jay Chou's concert) - at least 2 days.1 day left.11. That 1 day is your birthday.It's a taboo to go near your books on that day!Balance = 0 days left for mugging.

lost agn!
aiyo girls! one of u (sy) lost ur wallet agn! -_-'' and u all are so lucky that you all met nice ppl who return them to u all.. and all of u put my note in ur wallet and they call me when they found ur wallet! hahaa i'm glad tt i am of help but take care of ur belongings hor.. dun be so careless k?
but i'm happy to know tt u all put my note in ur wallet! hee :p i feel so touched! lalala
i remember the first time i bought my fav phone and i lost it within a month.. at tt time i was so sad because i like that phone alot... but no one return to me.. in fact tt person who took it switch off my phone immediately.. to me this is no difference to stealing.. in fact u all are very lucky tt those who pick up ur wallet return to u all! :)

珍惜
最近，有很多自然天灾(natural disasters)。。。尤其是四川的地震，让人看到人与人之间的关怀与联系！不知大家看到这些新闻有什么想法？要记得珍惜身边的人，不要等到失去后才来后悔。。。 其实，在生死关头，除了身边的人，其他什么成绩、钱、物质享受等等都已不重要。。。 知足常乐！（大家明白这个意思吗？）

went to tiong bahru plaza today.. and i saw qingping, ruixi and huiwen.. huiwen still take my photo without asking me! but i'm very happy that u all pass your chi exams! i'm not sure how well u all have done before i came.. i hope this time round ur results improved! keep it up! sorry that i have to leave without taking photos with u all because laoshi got another appointment to rush to.. take care gers.. :)

最近，看到报纸有一则报道，又一位中学生为了一件事，和华文老师吵架，最后还打老师！你们有读到吗？对这件事，有什么看法？
老师看了这篇报道，觉得蛮伤心的。因为发现很多类似的案件都是和华文老师打架。不知是华文老师比较好欺负，还是现在的学生这么讨厌华文？

嗨！大家好！如果有什么关于华文的问题要问的话，可以上来这里和大家分享。我们一起学习！老师虽然即将要离开了，（可是我也有可能回来的）！大家还是要继续热爱华文。拿到了成绩，记得上来这里和老师分享。

1。问关于华文的问题必须用华文来打字。如果是问其他问题可以用英文。
2。学生问问题时，其他学生也可以帮忙回答。
3。不准在这里用粗话或任何辱骂其他人的话。
